Janette L Green MD PC is Hiring a Medical Office Receptionist Near Portland, OR

Internal Medicine physician is seeking Medical Office Receptionist to share office responsibilities with current medical assistant. Office hours are from 8 am – 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday and 8 am - noon on Friday and we are located near St Vincent Hospital.

Competencies in:

· Clear verbal and written communication skills

· Proficient with windows based EMR software

· Competent understanding of basic medical terminology and common medical abbreviations

· The ideal candidate must be dependable, punctual, and friendly

If desired we will train candidates in all aspects of MA clinical responsibilities including but not limited to:

· Rooming patients and vital signs

· Perform laboratory procedures such as urinalysis and strep

· Assist provider with procedures- e.g. EKG, suture removal

· Phlebotomy, vaccinations and injections

· Irrigation - e.g. eye, ear

· Phone triage

· Selected candidate will be subject to a background check

Competitive pay based upon experience and benefits including PTO and IRA are included. Work week is 20 hours.
